The upcoming American Highschool Drama, comedy film Do Revenge is directed by Jennifer Kaylin Robinson and co-written by Celeste Ballard. On September 16, 2022, Netflix is set to debut it.
High school diva Drea (Camila Mendes), whose boyfriend discovered her sex tape, and quiet new hire Eleanor (Maya Hawke) team up behind each other’s backs to wreak revenge on their respective tormentors.

Who Plays Roles in Do Revenge (Cast)?
Stranger Things actress Maya Hawke was the one who broke the internet when she posted a photo of her character kissing a co-star in the Netflix movie.
With the caption “If you have nothing positive to say, DO REVENGE,” she posted images from the movie along with a trailer. More than 1.5 million followers liked the post.
The dark comedy will now have Eleanor as the lead role, played by the daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, who currently plays Robin Buckley in Stranger Things.
She is joined by Riverdale actress Camila Mendes as high school student Drea, who seeks retribution against her ex-boyfriend, Austin Abrams, whom you might recognize from the movie Euphoria. Star of Game of Thrones Sophie Turner is another well-known name.

The movie includes a strong ensemble and is described as a “subverted Hitchcockian dark comedy with the scariest protagonists of all: young girls.” Others have called it a comedy with lots of representation that is “Heathers-esque.”
When will Do Revenge be released on Netflix?
The movie will be made available on Netflix on September 16, 2022. Los Angeles-based filming was scheduled to begin in the new year of 2021. Production came to a close in August 2021.
When its release date of October 14, 2020, was announced, the movie’s working title was Strangers. It is now being made for Netflix. Strangers on a Train by Alfred Hitchcock served as Jennifer Kaytin Robinson’s inspiration (1951).
Maya Hawke and Camila Mendes could both appear in the 2020 movie. In 2021, the remaining cast was made public.
What happens in Do Revenge?
It seems that Drea’s lover and school king, Max, is at the pinnacle of his high school supremacy until Drea’s sex tape is made public to the whole student body.
The entirety of Drea’s existence is destroyed. Eleanor, a recent transfer student, is uneasy and saddened to discover that Carissa, the bully she had had at summer camp when they were both 13 years old, will now be a classmate.
Following a covert encounter at tennis camp, Drea and Eleanor forge a close connection to exact revenge on their respective tormentors.
