Dancing with the Stars returned to the Disney+ ballroom on Monday to honor Elvis Presley and to highlight how Tyra Banks towers over her presenting partner Alfonso Ribeiro after reports of many occurrences of Covid in the previous week.
Those two should be positioned on either side of the stage! Unfortunately, the pro lineup was without one hoofer because Daniella Karagach, whose overnight virus test result was positive, forced her partner Joseph Baena to mask up and perform with replacement ensemble dancer Alexis Warr.
Cheryl Van Amstel and Cheryl Ladd. (Score: 21 out of 40)
Before the performance, the couple went on a charming ride in a convertible, but their tango to “A Little Less Conversation” lacked much in the way of cuteness.
Ladd became disoriented, missed a ton of stairs, and was daunted by the demands placed on her. However, the old girl looks fantastic! The judge Carrie Ann Inaba commented, “That would have been a terrific routine but we got on the wrong foot a couple of times.” “I’m glad you come back so frequently. You repeatedly visited.
Pasha Pashkov and Teresa Giudice. (Score: 23 Out of 40)
Giudice recalled how she and her father would watch DWTS together before he passed away while rehearsing in New Jersey. The judges were unmoved despite Pashkov’s efforts to let her incorporate that intensity into her jive to “All Shook Up.”
Due to his marriage to Karagach, Paschkov was also required to perform while wearing a mask. It was energetic and brilliant, according to judge Len Goodman. The issue was that your leg movement contained far too many flaws. One or both of the kicks are not accurate enough.
Alexis Warr and Joseph Baena. (Score: 24 out of 40)
The bodybuilder had a difficult break because he was without his ideal dance partner and had to dance the Viennese waltz with a stranger while wearing an uncomfortable mask. It could have been a tragedy, but it wasn’t, as judge Derek Hough said. Inaba continued, “You were leading.” The hands “go into pancake mode,” so be careful.

The pop artist from the country genre committed to straightening her legs. She must have made some improvement throughout the sessions because she danced the foxtrot to “Trouble” to open the program. I like the variety of steps, and I thought your legs were stronger, Goodman said. “In my opinion, it’s better than last week.”
Cheryl Burke and Sam Champion. (Score: 26 out of 40)
Burke’s tough love coaching approach is still new to the former weatherman, but it’s working because his posture was better than last week and, more crucially, he showed much more confidence during the Viennese waltz to “Heartbreak Hotel.”
Judge Bruno Tonioli observed, “Cheryl may be a fairly strict and difficult teacher yet she achieves results. You appeared to be a leading man.
Koko Iwasaki and Vinny Guadagnino.(Score: 27 out of 40)
The reality star called Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino for motivation before dancing to “Viva Las Vegas” in his black jumpsuit and glittering Elvis wig since he was humiliated over receiving the lowest score the previous week. Just like a gambler in Las Vegas, Goodman added, “You went all in and it paid off.”
Brandon Armstrong and Jordan Sparks. (Score: 27 out of 40)
The singer is aware of the song “Hound Dog,” which she performed to victory in a karaoke competition when she was younger, but she is not familiar with the idea of quickstepping to the upbeat track.
The judges saw that she had trouble keeping up with Armstrong. Control is necessary, according to Goodman.”Your frame is your main issue. You need to strive to strengthen your frame because it’s flimsy if you want to advance.
Gleb Savchenko and Shangela.(Score: 28 out of 40)
The drag queen maintained the same enthusiasm from premiere night and added it to her exuberant quickstep to “Shake, Rattle and Roll,” feeling like “Beyonce at the Super Bowl.” She was unable to beat her score from the previous week due to an error. I appreciate your commitment to each action when you perform because you are so sharp, remarked Inaba. “Good work.”
They are Artem Chigvintsev and Heidi D’Amelio.(Score: 28 out of 40)
Compared to her week one cha, the social media star’s foxtrot to “Suspicious Minds” showed a significant improvement. “It had sophistication and grace. Lovely melody flowing through your arms. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice that was overall, however, there were times when it could have used a little more freedom.
Britt Stewart and Daniel Durant(Score: 28 out of 40)
Before dancing to “King Creole,” the deaf actor had a surprise visit from his mothers Lori and Mary during rehearsal. He sure put on a good face! Or “stank face,” as Banks put it. Marlee Matlin, his CODA co-star, was there to support him, but Hough neglected to mention her deserving date, the Oscar-winning Troy Kotsur. Hough remarked, “It was fascinating watching you. The musicianship was amazing.
Both Emma Slater and Trevor Donovan(Score: 30 out of 40)
The actor still feels “vulnerable” and moves nervously during rehearsals, but his rumba to “You’re Always On My Mind” provided him an opportunity to flaunt his amazing abs and sex appeal.
Banks was oblivious to the fact that Goodman was in line since she was so focused on Donovan’s hotness and Tonioli’s incessant fanning of himself. “Do you recall how uneasy you felt during dancing? You enjoy dancing, Hough remarked.

Before dancing the Viennese waltz to the famous song “Fools Rush In,” The Bachelorette flaunted her engagement ring and her new engagement to Eric Schwer. “I have completely swept away,” Tonioli remarked. “Your and Val’s partnership is like two instruments playing in perfect harmony.”

The Let’s Make a Dealer closed up the evening’s performances with a fantastic jive to “Burning Love.” The man knows how to enjoy himself. “It was an excellent jive.
I had a great time watching you dance. I want you to understand that this contest is a marathon. I think you are a fantastic dancer, so please take care of your knees.
Mark Ballas and Charli D’Amelio.(Score: 32 out of 40)
The TikTokker’s endurance was put to the strain as she rehearsed the quickstep with her coach, but she was able to maintain her energy and elbows for “Bossa Nova Baby.”
In addition, Banks seemed to be fixated on D’Amelio’s neck. Girl, keep up the positive remarks! Hough remarked, “That side-by-side section over there was so good.” “Your personality comes across so clearly.”
Ladd/Van Amstel and Giudice/Pashkov were the bottom two pairs. While Inaba saved Ladd, Hough and Tonioli saved Giudice. Ladd was chosen over Giudice because Goodman has the last say, sending the reality star home.
