Early Life
Bryan Lloyd Danielson was born on May 22, 1981, in Washington, DC to a modest middle-class household.
His father worked as a logger, and his mother supported the family as a therapist. Daniel has an elder sister named Billie Sue.
Daniel’s parents split when he was still a child, leaving him emotionally damaged. But he didn’t let that get to him, and he began to pursue athletics, and by the time he was in school, he was a very excellent football player.
Daniel later remarked in an interview that his parent’s divorce had permanently altered his attitude on life, instilling a profound sense of dissatisfaction within him.

Career
In 2000, the WWF hired Daniel for a developmental tour. He was given the Memphis Championship Wrestling contract, and William Regal served as his coach.
Daniel had already won the Light Heavyweight Championship and acquired the moniker ‘American Dragon’ due to his ferocity inside the ring – he credits William Regal with shaping him up into a ‘dragon.’
After being released from his WWF contract, Daniel fought in Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling in Japan for a while before joining the independent promotion Ring of Honour in 2002.
One of his tournament matches lasted 80 minutes. Daniel had a long rivalry with Homicide, whom he eventually defeated in a steel cage battle.
Daniel defeated Chavo Guerrero in his first WWE bout and made his NXT debut in February 2010.
WWE revealed that Daniel is set to be fired as a result of his overly aggressive behavior on an “entertainment” show, which led to the end of his feuds with WWE superstars The Miz and John Cena.
