Bruce Anthony Buffer was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on May 21, 1957. He began his martial arts training as a teenager while his family was residing in Philadelphia. He finally received his Tang Soo Do black belt and his judo green belt.
Buffer and his family relocated to Malibu when he was 15 years old. He continued his martial arts instruction in California, where he also ran into Chuck Norris.
