A$AP Rocky Apologizes for Cutting Short His Rolling Loud Set I’m in such pain right now!
A$AP Rocky apologizes to his fans after he was unable to give his complete performance on Saturday night at Rolling Loud New York due to his 45-minute late arrival and the lack of time to make up for it during the competition.
There are rumors that the rapper’s headline set only included a small portion of his song lineup, and fans weren’t happy about it. Videos posted online showed angry fans booing the rapper after the competition’s administrators took away his microphone.
“Thanks, New York Metropolis…
In a video posted online, the rapper said, “They cut a n***a mic off but it’s all okay.
The event at Citi Field in Queens, New York, only allowed the Harlem rapper to perform for roughly 30 minutes. The rapper allegedly spoke or did other things for 10 minutes in between songs at the Rolling Loud festival, according to several attendees.
On Sunday afternoon, A$AP apologized, claiming that the competition hurt him by keeping his set going for the entire allotted time.
“I’m in such pain right now! Last night was supposed to mark the transition in my stay revelations from the old to the new! Rocky said in a statement posted to his Twitter feed. I’ll accept full responsibility for the events that led to last night’s performance being both everything it was and everything it wasn’t.
Rocky went on to claim that despite having prepared for the occasion and practiced beforehand, he was unable to deliver.
“I also want to mention that even though it took me MONTHS to prepare the best present for my fans, component by component. I regret that I was unable to realize my vision, and I want to apologize to all of my fans and supporters for that. I also want to thank you all for sticking by me despite everything.
A$AP Rocky performed for nine songs before having his set cut short. He then brought out GloRilla and French Montana as special guests. For an hour, the rapper was scheduled to perform on stage.
In the interim, some fans expressed disapproval of the artist.
One individual commented on Twitter, “Perhaps don’t waste 10 minutes between every tune next time and actually rap your verses on songs.”
Another said, “What did he anticipate.” He looks exactly like the tardy employees that are supposed to make up for lost time at work, right? one more said.
Many people stated in the blog comments section that the rapper’s sentence would not have been extended because the New York Police Department had turned the music off because the city is currently under a late-night curfew.
