Elizabeth Chambers Provides an Update on their Current Situation in Light of their Impending Divorce.
Elizabeth Chambers is willing to talk about her breakup with Armie Hammer. After ten years of marriage, the pair announced their divorce in July 2020 in response to unsettling reports that Hammer had abused women violently.
For the benefit of their two children, Harper, 7, and Ford Hammer, 5, the 40-year-old founder of Bird Bakery spoke about how their divorce has affected her and how she and her partner are still putting up a unified front.
“The divorce is not yet complete. But the situation we are in is fantastic. We communicate frequently, Chambers said. The Couple Added, We strive to devote as much time as we can altogether to our children in a non-romantic way since we are totally and completely dedicated to them. The mother and father are both necessary for children. Therefore, nothing is off-limits.
Of course, it hasn’t always been simple. Chambers acknowledges that there have “certainly” been difficulties along the way. “Armie has been focused on his healing,” Elizabeth added.
The oxygen mask hypothesis states that you can’t properly care for someone else unless you are taken care of yourself. There’s a reason why it’s advised to secure your mask before assisting passengers on an airplane. Armie’s been working hard to put his mask on. Now that my mask is in place, all of our attention is focused on them and their protection.
Even though Chambers and Hammer are no longer together, she is there to assist him while he recovers. It will enable him to be the best father and person he possibly can be, she said. “That is the result, ultimately.
He is the finest father for our children, and that is all that matters. We communicate frequently. Naturally, he works through everything else that he is experiencing personally; this is now his trip.”
After reflecting on their ten years of marriage, Chambers continued, “I have the most gorgeous, lovely kids in the entire world when I look back.
At the end of the day, I love my life. I love my jobs, my restaurants, and my work in television. It wasn’t flawless, though. There may have been a point when I was overly concerned with creating the ideal Christmas card, because, in all honesty, perfection is so overrated. It’s not interesting, and I believe it took me some time to comprehend it before I could move on.”
Chambers also mentioned that she followed the Discovery+ documentary series “House of Hammer” and that she is currently in “a committed relationship” in her E! cover story. But for now, she’s only concerned about getting ahead. “I think of myself as being truly healed and quite clear-minded.
I believe I am the greatest mother I can be and am in a wonderful place. The best employee I could be, the best leader I could be “She spoke. “The only thing we can do is be accountable to ourselves. All we can do is respond to everything around us with compassion, love, understanding, and listening, and then be the best we can be.”
