Britney Spears Says That She Wants to Feel Valued” After Apologizing to Her Sons: “Sorry If I Ever Hurt You”
Britney Spears frequently discusses her strained relationship with her boys.
Spears reacted to her son Jayden James’ assertions that her social media use is motivated by a desire for “attention” after his interview with The Daily Mail and ITV, which aired earlier this month.
The 40-year-old “Hold Me Closer” singer stated over the weekend in an Instagram post that has since been deleted that she “wanted to be heard. “I’m angry,” she said.
Britney addressed the boys’ decision to postpone seeing mom and acknowledged her reservations. I’m afraid to tell you, but I won’t be willing to see you until I feel respected, the woman added.
Spears alleged that she has been made to feel “dying” and “sad” because she has tried to be involved in her kids’ lives. But honestly, I should have appreciated myself a lot more, she said after stating that she “was desperate to see you guys.”
The pop artist expressed her regret if she has ever caused you guys any harm. She said, “All I know is that my love for my children is greater than anything.”
Britney later addressed her adolescent sons more directly. I adore you, Jayden and Preston, she said, adding, “I’ve heard you two have blocked me.”
Spears appreciated her sons and represented her faith that they are using the punching bag she provided them to start practicing, calling them “unbelievable in the gym” and “talented in everything you do.”
Spears remarked, “I’m so fortunate to even be able to summon you to mine.” And I just want you to know.
In an interview with The Newspapers, Jayden discussed his and his brother’s mixed sentiments regarding Spears’ use of social media. He mentioned that Preston, who will be turning 17 on Wednesday, had expressed similar feelings “Despite my demands for her not to, my mother published his photographs. Nothing went smoothly as a result.”
Jayden said, “If that’s what she wants to do, then I’m not going to dislike her for that,” because social media “helps” her.
Britney should understand whatever it is that keeps her from loving her family, the teen continued.
To get some attention, it almost seems necessary for her to post something on Instagram. Given how long it has been going on, there is a significant chance that it will continue indefinitely, but I’m hoping she will stop for me.
